Visual Journaling with Cageless Birds

Cageless Birds, a missional creative community founded by Jonathan and Melissa Helser, just launched a series of videos inviting the non-artist into the practice of visual journaling. It may seem like an intimidating activity for those of us who claim no artistic bones, but they break it down into basic practices that allow it not to be an activity of production, but an activity of connection. We particularly love how at the end of the video, the viewer is invited to NOT immediately share what he or she has created allowing it to be “a little secret between you, your heart, and the Lord.”
